Congratulations to our Vex Robotics Team for winning their last competition! They will be going on to the State Competition! We wish them luck on their next competition.
Did you know that each year our PTA holds a fundraiser to help pay for our Field Trip buses for our students? This happens during our Fall Fest, and that money is used for the following year's budget. Usually, we get enough donations from this event that PTA can donate enough money to the school to cover the cost of one field trip bus for each grade level. This year we did not receive enough donations, so we are asking for everyone to "Show the Love" for the month of February so we can have money to pay for buses for the remainder of the year and have funds for Field Day as well. We have already had to cancel several of our annual events that PTA hosts for our community due to lack of funds. So, Sam Morgan Elementary community, we ask you to "SHOW THE LOVE!" Morgan Mustangs, We hope that you have enjoyed your summer and are excited to come back to school! The first day of school is Thursday, August 15th. The first bell rings at 8:50. Teachers will greet you outside to welcome you into the school building. Our Back to School night is Wednesday, August 14th from 4:30-6:00. Looking forward to seeing you!
